Pulse Tiffin Cover 2390-3 – Grey

The Pulse Tiffin Cover Model 2390-3 in Grey is a spacious insulated food carrier designed for people who need to carry a complete meal setup rather than a single compact lunch box. With approximate external dimensions of 10.5 inches in height, 9 inches in length and 10 inches in depth, the bag has a deep, box-shaped structure that provides substantial usable space for multiple food containers. Its generous 10-inch depth makes it especially practical for carrying stacked steel tiffins, rectangular lunch boxes, meal-prep containers, snack boxes, fruit containers, salad boxes and other appropriately sized food containers while keeping everything together in one dedicated carrier. The broad base allows containers to be arranged more naturally instead of being forced sideways as they often are inside ordinary backpacks. The large top-opening lid gives direct access to almost the entire main compartment, making packing, organising and removing containers considerably easier. A zip-around closure runs around the upper section of the bag and helps keep the compartment properly enclosed during normal transportation. One of the most important functional features of Model 2390-3 is its insulated silver-foil interior lining. The reflective thermal lining creates an additional barrier between the food compartment and the outside environment, helping slow down temperature transfer. This makes the cover considerably more appropriate for carrying prepared meals than an ordinary non-insulated fabric bag. Warm homemade meals packed shortly before leaving home can remain warm for longer, while chilled items can remain cooler for longer when packed appropriately. It is important, however, to describe the insulation accurately: the silver foil provides passive thermal insulation; the bag does not actively heat or refrigerate food. Actual temperature retention will depend on factors such as the starting temperature of the food, type of containers used, quantity of food, outside temperature, exposure to sunlight and how frequently the cover is opened. For foods that require strict cold-temperature control, suitable ice packs and normal food-safety precautions should still be used. The silver-foil lining also creates a practical inner surface for everyday food carrying. Minor condensation, crumbs and small accidental spills can generally be wiped away more easily than they could from an ordinary fabric-lined backpack. Liquid foods such as dal, curry, gravy, soup, curd and beverages should nevertheless always be packed inside properly sealed, leak-resistant containers because the tiffin cover itself should not be treated as a leakproof vessel. After any spill, the interior should be wiped promptly and the bag should be left open until completely dry. The grey exterior gives the model a neutral, understated appearance that works particularly well for office and professional use while remaining equally suitable for school, college, travel and household use. Two long webbing carry handles run down the front section and provide convenient hand or forearm carrying. Their extended attachment area also helps distribute the load across the body of the carrier when several containers are packed inside. A separate front zippered pocket provides useful external storage for smaller meal accessories such as tissues, napkins, spoons, forks, condiment sachets or other compact items. This allows frequently needed accessories to remain accessible without opening the insulated main compartment and disturbing the packed food. For office professionals, this model can serve as a dedicated food bag carried separately from a laptop backpack or briefcase. This is particularly useful because keeping food outside the laptop bag reduces the risk of an accidental food or liquid leak reaching electronics, documents, chargers and other expensive work items. Its larger capacity can accommodate more than just lunch: depending on container sizes, a person could organise breakfast, lunch, fruit, salad and an evening snack within the same carrier. This makes it practical for employees working long office hours, bank staff, teachers, retail employees, healthcare workers, factory staff, sales professionals, shopkeepers and people working extended shifts. For school and college students, the large insulated compartment can hold lunch together with additional snacks or fruit, while books, notebooks and electronics remain in the student's regular backpack. It can be particularly useful for students who leave home in the morning, attend school or college and then continue directly to tuition, coaching classes, libraries or extracurricular activities. For meal-prep and fitness routines, the box-shaped interior is useful when separate food portions need to be carried throughout the day. Breakfast, lunch, fruit, salad, snacks or protein-focused meals can be packed in individual containers instead of combining everything into one box. The relatively large capacity also makes the carrier useful for people following structured eating schedules or portion-controlled diets. During train journeys, road trips and long-distance travel, Model 2390-3 provides a dedicated space for homemade food rather than mixing food containers with clothes and other luggage. The large top opening makes individual containers easy to retrieve during a journey, while the insulated interior offers better short-term temperature protection than a conventional cloth or shopping bag. It can also be useful for carrying sandwiches, thepla, paratha, fruit, snacks and packed meals during family trips. For picnics, day outings and family activities, the capacity can be used either for several containers belonging to one person or a selection of smaller food boxes for multiple people, depending on their dimensions. The approximately 10.5 × 9 × 10-inch external size should be treated as a guide rather than guaranteed usable internal dimensions because seams, insulation and construction materials occupy some interior space. Customers carrying particularly large rigid tiffins should therefore compare the dimensions of their containers before purchase. The bag can also be practical for hospital visits, where homemade meals may need to be carried for a patient, attendant or family member while keeping food separate from medicines and medical documents. Other useful situations include delivering lunch to a family member at work, taking meals to elderly parents, carrying food to tuition or coaching classes, transporting homemade dishes to family gatherings and carrying packed food during religious or community events. The structured vertical format is particularly convenient for stackable Indian tiffin containers, because they can remain more naturally positioned during normal carrying. The long handles make the carrier easy to lift from a table, vehicle seat or counter even when the compartment is relatively full. For regular commuting by car, office transport, bus or train, having a separate food carrier also makes the meal easier to retrieve without opening the user's primary luggage. Maintenance is straightforward but important for keeping the insulated interior hygienic. After use, food crumbs should be removed and the silver-foil lining should be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth whenever necessary. The cover should then be left open to air-dry completely before being zipped closed for storage. Sharp utensils should preferably be stored inside a case or food container so that exposed edges do not repeatedly rub against or puncture the thermal lining. Aggressive scrubbing, harsh chemicals or machine washing should be avoided unless specifically permitted by the manufacturer. Overall, the Pulse Tiffin Cover Model 2390-3 Grey is designed for customers who want considerably more carrying capacity than a basic lunch pouch while still having the thermal benefits of an insulated food carrier. Its approximately 10.5-inch height × 9-inch length × 10-inch depth, deep box-style main compartment, insulated silver-foil interior, wide top opening, external zip pocket, long webbing handles and neutral grey finish make it suitable for office lunches, school and college, tuition and coaching, long work shifts, meal-prep routines, train journeys, road trips, hospital visits, picnics, family outings and everyday homemade-food transportation. The model shown is priced at ₹275.
